About

I am an amateur art enthusiast with an interest in preserving the history of forgotten masters. It is my hope that this website stimulates interest and discussion around the life and works of Canadian / American painter James Macdonald Barnsley.

The catalogue of his works is constantly being updated and I hope it will one day represent a full catalogue raisonné of his oil and watercolour paintings.

If you have any information about Barnsley or his works, photos to share, paintings to sell, or any questions please contact me.
